Gateway Student Accommodation is one of the few Student Accommodation establishements with an in-house Transport System that shuttles students between all UJ and Wits campuses
Our fleet comprises of more than 5 well serviced, 65 seater busses. This fleet is driven a team of sober and mature drivers who make it their priority to get you to your class safely and on time.
Our commitment to your success is so serious that even if there is one student going to campus in the whole bus; we will fulfill that trip as scheduled on our timetables without failure!
We are dedicated to providing at least one bus To and From each Campus every hour,
from Monday to Friday
At exactly 7 o'clock the first bus of the day departs Gateway. A bus will be despatched every 40 minutes.
Peak Hours end and busses will rotate between Campuses and Gateway every Hour.
At exactly 21:00 the last bus will depart from UJ APK Campus to wrap up the weekday bus service
*If a Gateway Resident has an exam or Semester Test on a weekend,
they should report at Reception before Wednesday for a bus to be organized in advance
